Job summary

Sublette County Health in Pinedale, WY, seeks a Director of Nursing (SNF) to lead a high-quality nursing program, oversee staff, and ensure regulatory compliance across the Skilled Nursing Facility. Qualifications

• MSN preferred.
• Wyoming RN license without restrictions.
• CDONA certification preferred or may be obtained after hire.
• Minimum of 5 years professional nursing experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
• Current certifications in BLS.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements nursing philosophy, policies, and procedures aligned with regulatory standards.
• Supervises professional nursing staff across SNF departments and ensures appropriate staffing levels.
• Oversees patient records completion, chart audits, and coordination with medical records and departments.
• Oversees MDS process and reimbursement requirements related to MDS.
• Assists with budgeting and monitors expenses in line with strategic plans.
• Ensures adherence to resident care plans and addresses issues affecting quality of care and satisfaction.
• Represents Hospital District in community and regulatory meetings and ensures compliance with OSHA and federal regulations.
