The Waters of Wakarusa is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing services and supervise the Therapy Department with authority for resident care 24/7. The DON reports to the Administrator and ensures compliance with federal/state regulations and company policies within the facility.

We require an RN in good standing with at least 2 years of nursing service administration leadership experience in skilled nursing and strong regulatory knowledge.

Qualificações

• RN license in good standing in the facility's state.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing service administration and leadership in skilled nursing.
• Strong knowledge of state, federal and local regulations as they pertain to long term care.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the nursing services staff and therapy department 24/7.
• Ensure compliance with current federal and state regulations and company policies.
• Support overall management of resident care and facility operations in the DON's absence.
