Qualifications

• Current valid RN license in the state of the facility.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing service administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of state, federal and local long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates age-specific developmental factors in planning delivery of care for adult and geriatric residents.
• Supervises nursing and rehabilitation services to meet resident needs.
• Acts as a key member of the interdisciplinary team under the Administrator.
• Ensures adequate staffing to meet resident needs across units and shifts.
• Participates in admission screening and planning to determine resident needs.
• Plans staff development programs to enhance quality of resident care.
• Oversees documentation to reflect nursing care and residents' responses.
• Participates in budgeting for nursing services and quality assurance meetings.

Education

Registered Nurse License

Nursing service administration experience
