Powers Health is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead our Nursing Leadership team in East Chicago, IN. This role reports to the VP of Nursing, guiding clinical operations, quality, and patient experience across departments.

We seek a visible leader who can develop future nursing leaders, collaborate with physicians and staff, and drive safety, performance, and financial stewardship while delivering exceptional care.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor's in Nursing and 5–7 years of progressive nursing leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, quality improvement, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, develop leaders, and collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality & Patient Care initiatives and ensure safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee department operations, staffing, budgets, and performance against targets.
• Develop and mentor nursing leaders; establish goals and evaluate performance.
• Collaborate with physicians, case management, and other departments to maintain standards of care.
• Drive patient experience improvements and alignment with organizational priorities.
