Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered nurse licensed in New Jersey (NJ RN).
• Current BLS certification.
• 2-4 years supervisory experience in Long Term/Rehab settings.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing operations: develop, implement, evaluate policies and standards.
• Ensure safe, person-centered care aligned with professional standards.
• Coordinate patient care: assessments, care plans, progress evaluation.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor resident outcomes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with CMS, state DOH and local rules.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff; address performance issues.
• Resolve staff conflicts; support teamwork among residents and families.
• Liaise between nursing staff, residents, families, physicians, and admin.
• Maintain safe environment; collaborate with environmental services.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and response planning.
• Understand incidents and support potential legal testing related to care.
• Work with interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic resident care.
• Communicate with families about residents' care and concerns.
