Job summary

Brookdale is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead and manage the overall operation of the clinical team, ensuring the highest quality of care for residents. You will build relationships with residents, families and physicians, mentor staff, and coordinate exceptional personalized care in partnership with community leadership.

This role emphasizes clinical leadership, technology proficiency, and adherence to regulatory standards, with a pathway to influence across nearly 700 communities

Qualifications

• Education to obtain state nursing license and state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN).
• Driver’s license is required.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience; clinical leadership experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of technology; proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day clinical services of the community to ensure residents’ healthcare needs are met.
• Supervises and provides leadership to licensed nurses and other direct care staff within the community.
