Epic Healthcare is hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead and oversee our nursing team in New Jersey, ensuring top-tier clinical care and regulatory compliance. The DON will manage staff, budgets, and care plans while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a NJ RN license, a BSN (MSN preferred), and 3–5 years of nursing management experience in long-term care, with strong leadership and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey.
• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of nursing management experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff to ensure high-quality clinical care.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures for regulatory compliance.
• Oversee resident care plans to meet individual needs and standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes.
• Manage nursing budgets, staffing schedules, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations at all levels.
• Lead infection control and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Mentor nursing staff and support professional development.
