Miami University seeks an Assistant Clinical Professor/Assistant Clinical Lecturer to teach Nursing through classroom, clinical, and lab instruction, advise students and provide service to the institution and the discipline. Position is a full-time academic year role beginning January 2027.
The candidate will teach clinicals/labs, maintain records, and contribute to curriculum assessment. This on-campus role may include online coursework and requires a DNP or terminal nursing degree, NP
Competenze
- Earned DNP or other terminal nursing degree.
- Certification as an advanced practice nurse.
- One year of clinical practice as a certified nurse practitioner.
- Valid driver's license for appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor.
Mansioni
- Develops & revises syllabi for assigned nursing courses; maintains records documenting student achievement.
- Teaches clinicals and lab courses; provides advising and serves on committees.
- Maintains clinical nursing practice expertise; contributes to curriculum evaluation and program development.
- Full-time on-campus teaching responsibilities; may include online coursework as needed by the department.
