Job summary
East Carolina University College of Nursing seeks two full-time Clinical Instructor/Clinical Professor roles with strong medical-surgical nursing expertise. Responsibilities include teaching advanced medical-surgical nursing, pathophysiology and pharmacology to pre-licensure students, plus clinical/lab supervision as appropriate.
Minimum requirements include a Master’s degree in nursing, two years of medical-surgical experience and an NC nursing license.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing from an appropriately accredited institution.
- Two years of medical-surgical nursing experience is required.
- A valid non-restricted North Carolina nursing license is required upon employment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, teach and evaluate theory, lab and clinical courses primarily face-to-face.
- Supervise students in clinical and lab settings as needed.
