Highland Community College in Atchison, KS is seeking a part-time Clinical Instructor to introduce nursing students to the responsibilities, knowledge, and skills for safe practice and licensure readiness. Clinical sites include Atchison, Hiawatha, Holton, Topeka and St.

Joseph. Responsibilities include teaching clinical skills, providing a professional role model, evaluating progress, maintaining records, and coordinating with sites.

Competenze

• Master of Science is preferred for RN students or BSN with degree plan.
• Bachelor of Science is preferred for LPN students or ADN with degree plan.
• Current Kansas RN license required.
• Knowledge of clinical procedures and documentation required.

Job Details

Position Type: Part Time

Education Level: 4 Year Degree

The Clinical Instructor is responsible for introducing students to the responsibilities, knowledge, techniques, and skills that are necessary for the successful and safe practice of nursing and successful completion of Kansas State Board of Nursing licensure requirements. The Clinical Instructor monitors and evaluates student progress through the clinical course(s) and serves as a role model for them. This position would teach in Northeast Kansas and Northwest Missouri hospitals.

Clinical site locations vary: Atchison, Hiawatha, Holton, Topeka and St. Joseph.

Responsibilities
