Are you passionate about teaching and empowering future nurses? UW-Madison School of Nursing is seeking committed and enthusiastic Clinical Faculty to join our team. As Clinical Faculty, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise with the next generation of nurses, ensuring they receive a comprehensive education and are well-prepared for their professional careers. In this role, you will work closely with nursing students in the Doctor of Nursing Practice and baccalaureate programs and will be assigned to teach didactic and experiential (clinical) courses and may provide instruction in simulated care environments. Depending on expertise, qualifications, and program needs, it is also possible to be assigned to teach in undergraduate or PhD programs. Employment in this position is contingent upon the successful candidates’ ability to provide satisfactory documentation for various medical clearances and certifications, as required by the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Nursing and/or its affiliated clinical partners. Examples of required medical clearances and certifications include, but are not limited to: RN license, negative TB status, COVID vaccination, MMR, varicella, hepatitis B, and others.
This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
Official transcripts will be required upon hire.
The minimum starting salary for this position is $91,400. Actual salary will be negotiated based on experience and qualifications. This is a C- basis (9-month) position. This is a part-time position, which means actual salary earned will be prorated based on FTE (full-time status). For example, at 60% FTE, the person hired can expect to receive 60% of the advertised salary.
