Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Master's Degree in Nursing Education or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Experience in education and staff development.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS certification a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement educational programs tailored to the needs of nursing staff, including orientation, in-service training, and continuing education
- Conduct regular assessments to identify educational needs and competency gaps within the nursing team
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, department managers, and administrative staff to ensure that educational initiatives align with hospital policies and procedures
- Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff, providing expert advice and guidance on best practices in nursing care
- Maintain accurate records of educational activities, and evaluate program effectiveness through feedback surveys and other metrics
