Job summary

Keiser University seeks an ASN Clinical Assistant to coordinate, facilitate, administer, and monitor activities for the nursing clinical education program. The role supports Course Lead faculty and ensures student learning quality during clinical rotations.

You will supervise student care at clinical sites, guide students on procedures, coordinate with facility staff, and provide timely feedback to support student performance and program compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Nursing.
• RN license.
• 2 years of Nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises care provided by students at the clinical site during the rotation.
• Assists students on how to perform duties in the clinical site and answers student questions.
• Coordinates with facility staff on student patient assignments.
• Observes/reviews the students' clinical work with Course Lead faculty.
• Provides timely feedback to the students on their progress and reviews with Course Lead.
• Communicates with Course Lead faculty and students to monitor progress and assess performance.
• Gives guidance and support to problem solve and discuss student concerns.
• Disseminates clinical policies and procedures to students before affiliations.
• Assesses students' performance during clinical education in coordination with Course Lead.
