Job summary

The Woodlands Nursing and Rehabilitation Center seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support quality resident care and supervise daily nursing operations. You will help plan, implement, and evaluate nursing services in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.

The role requires Texas LVN licensure, 3 years of SNF experience, and strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with physicians, families, and staff while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an LVN program at an accredited vocational school, college, or university.
• Must possess a current Texas LVN licensure.
• Must have experience working in a skilled nursing facility for at least 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Communicate with attending physician and medical director regarding resident care issues as needed.
• Recruit, hire and train nursing staff; manage shift staffing and schedules.
• Participate in the facility’s Quality Assurance program and review resident records and plans of care.
• Assist with MDS assessments and care plans as needed.
