Job summary

University Health System- San Antonio seeks a nurse aide to perform routine nursing duties and assist in patient care to support comfort and welfare. The role requires current CPR/BLS and Healthcare Provider cards, with preferred completion of a nurse aide training program and clinical externship within University Health System.

Certification as a nurse aide with recent attendant experience is also preferred. This on-site position supports efficient patient care delivery in a hospital setting.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

A high school diploma, its equivalent, or higher degree is required. Must have current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support and Healthcare Provider card. Completion of recognized nurse aide training program with three months in clinical studies is preferred; or, can be a Medical Assistant graduate that has completed an externship within University Health System. Nurse aide certification with recent nurse attendant experience is preferred.
