Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Laredo is seeking a devoted Certified Nursing Assistant to provide safe, patient-centered care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians on the unit. You will participate as a key member of the Nursing Team, upholding Service Excellence standards and our commitment to quality care.

Qualified candidates hold a High School diploma or GED, a CNA certificate, CPI training within six months, and BLS certification.

Job Summary

Provides safe, competent patient-centered care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. The certified nursing assistant provides care under the direction of the registered nurse or physician. Participates as an active member of the Nursing Team on the assigned unit/department. Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED

Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
Must possess CNA certificate
De‑… training (obtained CPI within six months of employment) in required specialty.
