University of Miami Hospital & Clinics seeks a Nursing Assistant to support nursing service personnel with patient care, hygiene, vital signs, and meal service. The role includes transporting patients, assisting with mobility, and preparing supplies for perioperative services.
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of relevant experience are required. The position is full-time, daytime hours (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM), based at University of Miami Hospital & Clinics - Periop.
Work Shift: Full-Time 40 hrs. per week, Days 7:00AM - 4:00PM - M-F.

The Nursing Assistant assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Additionally, the incumbent assists with personal hygiene, takes vital signs, and changes bed linens. The Nursing Assistant also serves and collects food trays, provides for in-between meal nourishment, and cleans, sterilizes, stores, and prepares other supplies.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent/relevant experience, certification or license
