Job summary

Independence Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Technical Partner for the Float Pool to support patient care across units. You will assist in safe patient care and maintain smooth unit operations under supervision.

Responsibilities include facilitating safe O2 changes, assisting with direct patient care, and following accredited training programs and CPR/clearances. On-site role with non-exempt status; strong customer service and safety mindset required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current enrollment or completion of Nursing Assistant Training Program.
  • Healthcare Provider CPR and Act 33/73 clearances.
  • Clinical experience obtained through a Nursing Assistant Training Program or working as a nursing assistant in an acute care facility.
  • Comprehensive Crisis Management per policy. Completion of EKG training within 1 year of hire/transfer.

Job Summary:

Comprehensive Crisis Management per policy. Completion of EKG training within 1 year of hire/transfer. Responsible to safely access, transport, and handle single dose medications to include prescription and non-prescription medications. Responsible to safely access, transport, and handle sharps, such as needles, suture kits, lancets, syringes, etc.
