Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join the 2F Step-Down ICU team. This full-time position (36 hours weekly) covers day shifts (7am–7pm) and is benefit-eligible.

Under general supervision, you will assist with delegated patient care and routine unit tasks, working closely with registered nurses to support high-acuity patients, particularly septic and respiratory cases. A path to excellence culture is emphasized.

Qualifications

• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• Previous Nursing Assistant experience required.
• HS diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide delegated patient care under supervision and assist with routine non-patient care tasks.
• Collaborate with nurses to support a high-acuity Step-Down ICU patient population.
• Maintain unit cleanliness and safety standards.
