Job summary

Shasta Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Nurse Assistant for the Ortho/Neuro department to assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients under RN supervision.

The role is full-time with day shifts. Candidates should have a CNA certificate, BLS certification, knowledge of medical terminology, and prior acute care experience. Competitive pay ranges from $24.31 to $33.65 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred

The Nurse Assistant in the Ortho / Neuro Department is an unlicensed non-certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
