Job summary

North Cascades Health and Rehabilitation Center in Bellingham, WA is seeking compassionate individuals to join our Nursing Assistant Candidate in-training program with FREE training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) after successful state exam. Pay begins at the completion of the class.

Training covers basic patient care, lectures and hands-on practice, with emphasis on adult/geriatric care. Graduates may take the state CNA exam and work at our Center, with a minimum 6-month

Qualifications

• Reliable and committed to completing a 4-week CNA class.
• Able to pass a background screening.
• Able to provide two references.
• Be at least 18 years of age at completion of class.
• No prior healthcare experience required.

Responsibilities

• Learn basic patient care under supervision.
• Participate in classroom and clinical training.
• Support care team to deliver compassionate resident care.
• Complete state Nursing Assistant Certification exam after training.

Class Summary:

North Cascades Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking compassionate and team oriented individuals to join our family. We are offering aFree Nursing Assistant Training Programfor Nursing Assistants (that's you!).No experience is required, but direct experience is not turned away.

Training will include:

• Basic understanding in patient care
• Lecture and Practical experience
• Emphasis on adult/geriatric care.
• Graduates are eligible to take the exam for state Nursing Assistant Certification.
• All educational and clinical learning time is free to you, with the expectation that you will work in one of our Centers for a minimum of 6-months, while you are employed as a Nursing Assistant in our Center.

Requirements:

• You Must Be Reliable
• Able to Pass a Background Screening
• Able to Commit to Completing the 4-week class commitment
• Able to provide 2 References
• Be at least 18 years of age at completion of class
