Job summary

ECU Health North Hospital in North Carolina is seeking a Nursing Assistant to perform designated tasks under the supervision of a licensed nurse, within the NC NAI framework, and to support patient care goals. Position Summary

Functions within the framework of the NAI listing granted by the NC Department of Health and Human Services. Practices within the philosophy and goals of patient care services. In addition, the Nursing Assistant may be utilized in the Observer Role responsible for monitoring one or more assigned patients on a designated unit for a specified time period.

Minimum Requirements

De-escalation training (Non-violent crisis intervention or other de-escalation program adopted by ECU Health). If not current at the time of hire must complete within 90 days of employment and maintain without lapse during employment. This is not required for Ambulatory clinical positions.
