U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Nursing Assistant at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Johnson City, TN. The role supports nursing staff in preventive, acute, chronic, maintenance, and hospice care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The NA provides clinical and administrative support in a wide variety of patient care and related activities within Nursing Service including - but not limited to - roles assigned to Escort Services (i.e. - direct patient care - patient transport - Reusable Medical Equipment cleaning). The NA functions as a member of the nursing care team and assists licensed nursing staff in the care of patients/residents receiving preventive - acute - sub-acute chronic - maintenance - and hospice care.
