Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Medical Surgical Unit. This Per-Diem role involves 12-hour Night shifts and delivering basic nursing care under the direct supervision of an RN.

You will assist with observation and care of patients across age groups, participate in ongoing education, and contribute to a Magnet-recognized team's commitment to high-quality patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of training for Nursing Assistants.
• CNA certificate, Graduate of any accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program, or demonstrated equivalency (such as experience as a corpsman, EMT, foreign-licensed RN or MD), completion of accredited Nursing Program
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Nursing Assistant in our Medical Surgical Unit at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This position is Per-Diem and will work 12-hour Night shifts. Provides basic nursing care to patients, under direct supervision of RN; assists RN in observation and care of patients in assigned area(s). Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.67
