Job summary

Kettering Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant in Beavercreek, OH, for a full-time day shift. You will be part of an interdisciplinary patient care team, assisting patients with daily living activities and contributing to safe, high-quality care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Requirements include KH Nursing Assistant orientation, CPR/BLS certification, and either six months of prior nursing assistant experience or completion of a Nursing Assistant course.

Qualifications

• KH Nursing Assistant orientation is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Six months experience as nursing assistant or Nursing Assistant course completion or nursing student status.
• Current KH employee eligibility may apply.

• The Nurse Assistant is responsible for maintaining and demonstrating knowledge, skill, and ability of the delegated tasks.
• The Nursing Assistant also supports department operational needs, and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Applicants Must Have:

• Successful completion of KH Nursing Assistant orientation
• Certification in CPR/BLS
• Must have one of the following:
  • Six months experience as a nursing assistant in a hospital or a long-term care facility
  • Completion of Nursing Assistant course in the last six months
  • Nursing student or listed as pre-nursing as shown on transcripts
  • Current employee with Kettering Health
