Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Nursing Assistant in Training (NAIT) to prepare for the Minnesota CNA exams. You must be enrolled in a MN‑MDH 75‑hour NATCEP program at hire and will complete exams within 4 months, then apply internally for CNA roles across Monarch's facilities in Minnesota.

Nursing Assistant in Training (NAIT)

Position Summary:

The Nursing Assistant in Training (NAIT) is a position that exists to prepare NAITs to successfully pass the Minnesota State Nursing Assistant competency exams. NAITs must be actively enrolled in an approved Minnesota MDH 75-hour NATCEP program at the time of hire. Upon completion of the course, the NAIT will take and pass the Minnesota State Nursing Assistant competency exams within 4 months of hire at which time the NAIT will apply internally for the open CNA position at the facility of their choosing. The student is allowed3 attempts for the Skills exam and 4attempts for the Knowledge exam. If either exam attempts are exhausted, a new training program must be completed. As an NAIT, you will be responsible for most duties of a certified nursing aide (CNA) as officially deemed competent through in part, completion of at least 16 hours of training in core areas.
