Job Description

• Perform basic patient care needs and services essential to caring for the patients' personal and comfort needs.
• Complete personal hygiene.
• Collect specimens.
• Assist patients with daily walking and exercise.
• Transport patients between departments.
• Observe, report and record vital signs of the patient.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least one semester of nursing prerequisites of nursing school.
• Obtain/Maintain CPR certification for adult maneuvers (child and infant may be required by some departments) at all times.
• May be required to lift more than 35 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
