The Nursing Assistant II provides direct patient care under RN or LPN supervision, assists with daily activities, monitors vital signs, and supports admissions, transfers, and discharges, contributing to a safe and compassionate patient

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Assistant program.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – State of Florida
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Paramedic, or Medical Corpsman
• Internationally licensed medical personnel

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily care needs including hygiene, mobility, nutrition and elimination.
• Monitor and record vital signs.
• Support admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment.
• Communicate patient concerns to nurses and healthcare staff.
• Participate in patient rounding and shift handoff reports.
• Respond to patient call lights and requests.
• Transport equipment, supplies, blood products, and medications (excluding controlled substances).

Nursing Assistant II Intermediate Care IMC Full-Time Nights

Position Summary

The Nursing Assistant IIprovides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This role supports patients with daily care activities, monitors vital signs, and helps maintain a safe and comfortable environment.

You will work closely with nurses, physicians, and the healthcare team to support patient recovery and deliver compassionate care to patients and their families.
