Provides routine direct and indirect patient care in a hospital, clinic or home health care setting. All work performed is under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
The Cardiac Medicine Intermediate Care Unit is a 24-bed unit dedicated to delivering intermediate-level care to adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiac conditions and co-morbidities. Our patient population commonly includes those experiencing: Heart failure Dysrhythmias Myocardial infarctions (heart attacks) Pre- and post-cardiac or vascular procedures Medical conditions with significant cardiac history
