Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Wyandotte, MI is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide compassionate patient care including bathing, hygiene and mobility support. This full-time day shift offers $18.00-$24.24 per hour plus shift differentials for nights and weekends, with a thorough orientation and ongoing training.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED (or 3+ years’ related work experience); BLS within 90 days; hospital experience or CNA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: hospital experience as a Nursing Assistant or CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with transfers to stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
