Job summary

Providence’s St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, CA, is seeking a Nursing Assistant for full-time night shifts. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will provide routine direct patient care and support the unit’s policies and procedures.

This Magnet-designated facility requires BLS certification and offers opportunities to grow within a compassionate, patient-centered culture. Applicants with acute care, psych experience, or RN program coursework are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• 6 months of acute care, psych or completion of 1st semester of Registered Nurse Academic Program or Nurse Assistant equivalent education.
• Preferred qualification: 9 months experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Report pertinent information to the Registered Nurse.
• Respond to patient care needs in accordance with unit policies and procedures.
