Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Marina Hospital is seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to support non-acute patients, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a safe, clean environment under RN supervision.

Shifts: Night shift 18:00–06:30, including some weekend shifts. Requires High School diploma or GED; Current BLS; CNA preferred. 6 months to 1 year of related experience recommended.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Current BLS certification (required).
• Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred).
• 6 months to 1 year work related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients within the nursing attendant’s scope of practice.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment under the supervision of the RN.
• Notifies licensed personnel of patient changes or concerns.
• Demonstrates effective communication with RN, team, and physicians.
