Responsabilités

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting, and hygiene.
• Provide basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Work under the directions of the registered nurse in charge of the unit.
• Answer phones and call lights.
• Ensure unit is stocked with supplies.
• Assist patient transporter as needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Float to assigned unit/s: Med Surg/Tele or ICU
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene
• Provide basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients
• Assist in maintenance of a safe and clean environment
• Work under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit
• Answer phones and call lights
• Ensure unit is stocked with supplies

• Other duties as assigned

Shifts

• Night Shift, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Days Shift, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Experience

• One year of nursing assistant experience (preferred)
• 2 or more years of nursing assistant experience (strongly preferred)

Certifications

• Current BCLS certification (required)
• Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred)
