Requirements include a high school diploma or GED; CNA preferred. If in ND/MN and not a CNA, must be NA Registry compliant within four months. Wisconsin nurses aide registry is required for WI work.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
• If working in North Dakota or Minnesota and not a CNA, must be on NA Registry within four months from hire date.
• Wisconsin nurses aid registry required for Wisconsin work.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision.
• Record vital statistics and health information.
• Collect non-invasive specimens as needed and perform related clerical tasks.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment; dispose of biomedical waste according to policy.
• Provide one-on-one patient care when necessary for safety.
