Geisinger is seeking a Part Time Nursing Assistant in Scranton, PA to provide compassionate patient care in the evening shift (3pm–11pm) while supporting the care team and daily operations. This role emphasizes reliability, punctuality and strong collaboration to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care as directed within the nursing assistant scope of practice.
• Identifies, observes, and documents patient needs and reports changes to licensed personnel.
• Obtains and maintains specimen integrity and transports to the laboratory.
• Assists with activities of daily living and supports continuity of care.
• Supports patient safety watch and coordinates test scheduling and transportation.
• Performs clerical duties for admissions, transfers, discharges and documentation.
• Assists with ordering supplies and communicates with food services for patient diets.
• Operates and maintains clerical equipment and supports staff across the unit.
