Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking an experienced patient care assistant to work alongside physicians and nurses in Morristown, NJ. You will assist with daily activities, bathing, meals, transportation, and positioning, while ensuring a positive patient and family experience.

Responsibilities include supporting nursing staff, measuring vitals, serving meals, moving patients for tests, and maintaining safety. CNA/BLS certifications preferred; nursing students welcome.

Qualifications

• Must be able to assist patients with daily activities and basic care.
• Ability to work with physicians and nurses as part of a team.
• Flexible to perform assigned tasks as outlined by supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Support nursing staff in direct patient care and daily activities.
• Serve meals, transport patients, and provide comfort and safety.
• Take vital signs and assist with basic treatments as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and coordinate with care teams.
