Garden City Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Nurse Assistant for the Med Surg/Telemetry department. This role provides basic nursing care and assists with activities of daily living under RN supervision in a non-critical setting.

Full-time night shift opportunities offer exposure to diverse patient populations in a state-of-the-art facility committed to quality, compassion and community.

Formación

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months' previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.

Responsabilidades

• The Nurse Assistant in the Med Surg/Telemetry Department assists with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients.
• Maintains a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Assistant in the Med Surg/Telemetry Department is an unlicensed non-certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

1. Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.
2. Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
