Ridgeview Medical Center in Minnesota is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff in direct and non-direct patient care, assist with ADLs, monitor vitals and glucose, and help promote comfort and dignity for patients in a fast-paced environment. The role requires certification or EMT, 1 year experience, enrollment in nursing program, and ability to follow policies.
Strong communication and teamwork are essential, as is the ability to work autonomously when needed.
This position is responsible for assisting nursing staff in direct and non-direct patient care functions at the direction of the professional nursing staff. This includes: Support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including but not limited to assisting patients with eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, repositioning, patient vitals and glucose checks to promote comfort and maintain dignity.
*Nursing Assistants under the age of 18 are not permitted to operate patient lifts.
