UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital in Central Florida is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join the Medical Unit during nights. You will provide direct patient care, assist with comfort measures, and help maintain a clean, safe environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, Florida CNA license preferred, BLS, and the ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Schedule is 6:45 p.m.–7:15 a.m., 36 hours per week, with variable days.

Join our Medical Unit team and work alongside nurses and other clinical professionals to provide compassionate, hands‑on care and support to patients throughout their hospital stay.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director/Manager and Registered Nurses, the Nursing Assistant facilitates patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, assisting with patient comfort measures, and maintaining a clean, safe and organized patient environment.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Post‑high school specialized training preferred

Licensure & Certification

• Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred
• BLS required
