Job Summary

Assists in the safe care of the patient on the 6 Tower unit as directed. Assists in maintaining safe and efficient unit operations and utilizes excellent customer service skills. Permitted to change patient from portable O2 to wall O2.

Education
  • Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Current enrollment or completion of a Nursing Assistant training program
Registration/Certification/Licensure
  • Healthcare Provider CPR and Act 33/73 Clearances
Experience
  • Minimum: None
  • Preferred: Previous experience working as a nursing assistant in an acute care facility
Other Requirements

Comprehensive Crisis Management per policy. Responsible to safely access, transport, and handle single dose medications to includeprescription and non-prescription medications. Responsible to safely access, transport, and handle sharps, such as needles, suture kits, lancets, syringes, etc.
