Job summary

Butler Memorial Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant for a full-time, straight night shift on the 6 Main unit. The role involves assisting in safe patient care and maintaining efficient unit operations, with ability to switch patients from portable to wall oxygen as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the safe care of the patient on the 6 Main unit as directed.
  • Assist in maintaining safe and efficient unit operations and utilize excellent customer service skills.
  • Permitted to change patient from portable O2 to wall O2.
  • Safely access, transport, and handle single-dose medications (prescription and non-prescription).
  • Safely access, transport, and handle sharps (needles, suture kits, lancets, syringes, etc.).

Full Time 36 hours per week, Straight Night Shift Hours: 6p-6:30a

Other Requirements

Comprehensive Crisis Management per policy. Responsible to safely access, transport, and handle single dose medications to includeprescription and non-prescription medications. Responsible to safely access, transport, and handle sharps, such as needles, suture kits,lancets, syringes, etc.
