Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Wilmington, DE is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NA) for a full-time day shift with 12-hour rotations. The role focuses on compassionate patient care, including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and mobility assistance, with weekend shift differentials.

The compensation ranges from $19.70 to $24.00 per hour based on experience, plus a $3,000 sign-on bonus. The hospital offers orientation, RN scholarship, tuition reimbursement, clinical ladder, and comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or 3+ years relevant experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform bathing using basin-less bath products and assist with oral hygiene and feeding.
• Assist with hair care and daily activities.
• Participate in hourly rounds and monitor patient comfort.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patient rooms clean and stocked; manage unit supplies as directed.
