Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current nursing student with at least one clinical rotation.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 1 year experience as a Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to unlicensed nursing staff.
• Performs additional functions for which prepared, per unit protocols.
• Adheres to the Hospital Customer Service Program in patient care activities.
• Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.
