Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant-1 to provide compassionate patient care across diverse age groups and medical conditions. You will work under the supervision of a nurse, assist with daily living activities, and help ensure comfort and safety for patients.

Ideal candidates have completed a Nursing Assistant program or have related experience, with BLS certification or plans to obtain it within three months.

Qualifications

• Previous experience or graduated from a Nursing Assistant program preferred.
• One year or more experience as a Nurse Assistant preferable.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered/licensed nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living and delegated patient care tasks.
• Document care provided in medical records and patient care forms.
• Assist with patient mobility, turning, and comfort measures as needed.

This individual provides direct patient care and works collaboratively with other patient care team members including the patient and family, to achieve optimal patient outcomes. All care is provided under the direction and supervision of a registered or licensed nurse. The Nursing Assistant assists with activities of daily living and delegated patient care treatments and procedures. Is responsible to assist with ambulation of patients, turning patients and promoting comfort.* Previous experience or graduated from a Nursing Assistant program preferred.* Ability to document on medical records and patient care forms and understand printed health related material.* One year or more experience as a Nurse Assistant preferable.* Computer experience preferred.
