The Nursing Assistant may provide direct hands-on care and perform delegated nursing care tasks set forth by the Board of Nursing in administrative rules. In surgery, the Nursing Assistant may work under the supervision of a perioperative registered nurse. The licensed nurse may need to limit the range of tasks based on patient needs, situation, or available resources and shall supervise all nursing tasks, functions and activities. The Nursing Assistant works collaboratively with the perioperative, pre- and post-op nursing staff, clerical staff and material management.
This is a part-time, 0.6 FTE Nursing Assistant opportunity based at our Eagan Surgery Center. 12-hour weekday shifts, 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM. This position may require flexibility to float to other Summit locations as needed.
Week 1: Thursday, Friday.
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday.
Summit's hiring range for this position is $18.77 to $23.46 per hour. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials and/or deferred compensation.
