Job summary

The Waterford at Baytown, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Nursing Aide to assist residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care.

You will help with daily living activities, medication assistance, meals, and escort residents; promote dignity and independence, and participate in activities. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; nursing/home health experience is a plus. We offer health insurance, 401k, PTO from day one, and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards
• May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times
