  • Lead nursing practice using the Professional Practice Model of Relationship Centered Care and the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing to promote patient experience.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in hourly Care Checks and model expected behaviors.
  • Ensure integration of hourly Care Checks into clinical activities to enhance Relationship Centered Care.
  • Assess staff competency and provide consistent feedback with more focused feedback as needed.
  • Conduct rounding of patients on assigned shift.
  • Communicate quantitative and qualitative information regarding patient experience and staff engagement to the interdisciplinary health care team to develop and implement an action plan.
  • Collaborate with physician dyad and escalate concerns as appropriate.
  • Follow up on patient concerns in a timely manner and provide service recovery as needed.
  • Demonstrate caring, respect, compassion, empathy and active listening through dialogue, body language and actions.

The Nursing Administrator is a registered professional nurse with progressive administrative experience, leading hospital operations on assigned evening, night, weekend and holiday shifts. They support the CNO, Nursing Directors, Nurse Managers, Assistant Nurse Managers and Hospital/site leadership in the management of clinical units/specialty areas, fulfilling responsibilities for hospital and patient care services.Serving as the senior administrative representative for the organization during evening, night, weekend and holidays, the Nursing Administrator ensures the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of patient care while promoting operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and exceptional patient and staff experience

Responsibilities
PATIENT CARE
  • 1.Leads nursing practice using the tenets of the Professional Practice Model of Relationship Centered Care and the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing for the promotion of the patient experience.
  • 2.Demonstrates proficiency in all aspects of hourly Care Checks and role models expected behaviors.
  • 3.Ensures the integration of hourly Care Checks into clinical activities to enhance Relationship Centered Care.
