Job summary

Kean University, located in Union, New Jersey, seeks Adjunct Faculty in the Nursing Department to teach in the ABSN program and graduate offerings at Union and affiliate campuses. Courses span fundamentals, medical-surgical, population health, obstetrics, pediatrics and behavioral health, with clinical and lab components.

Adjuncts are non-tenure track, require a master’s degree in a related field and teaching experience, and proficiency with a Learning Management System per university guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; ABD/PhD encouraged.
• Teaching experience with adjunct roles preferred.
• Proficiency with Learning Management System (LMS) required.

Responsibilities

• Teach 3 or 4 credit classes, including clinical and lab components.
• Provide at least 1 hour of availability outside class per week; 30 minutes extra per additional class.
• Opportunity to teach ABSN and graduate courses; non-tenure track.
