Nursing Adjunct Instructor

South College - Atlanta Campus is conducting a search for the position of adjunct clinical instructor to teach in the School of Nursing.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain professional standards of practice in teaching in the clinical settings.
  • Collaborate with course faculty and work closely with the clinical coordinator.
  • Facilitate effective learning and critical thinking/reasoning during clinical experiences while fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with clinical agencies.
  • Monitor student progress with evaluations and grades; develop care plans as assigned; provide positive and constructive feedback when needed.
Qualifications

Education

  • Prefer a Master’s degree in Nursing.
  • BSN will be considered for LPN programming with significant clinical background or prior teaching experience.

Licensure

  • Hold an unrestricted license to practice in Georgia.

Experience

  • Prefer experience in secondary instruction.
