Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is seeking Nursing Adjunct instructors to support daytime nursing courses at our Noblesville campus. Adjunct positions are temporary, part-time, hired each semester as needed.

The role involves delivering effective instruction, creating learning environments, using common syllabi, and assessing students in alignment with college policies. Instructors must maintain attendance and grading records, and be available to students outside scheduled class times.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the subject, or earned master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the subject or related courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate student learning in assigned nursing classes.
• Provide syllabus for each course and follow content and requirements.
• Maintain attendance and grading records per college policy.
• Make yourself available to students outside scheduled class time.
• Use technology such as Blackboard and PowerPoint as appropriate.
• Notify program coordinator in case of emergencies and adhere to diversity principles.
